PRICE PROMISE
RGB always try to be fairly priced, and most of the time this means we are very competitively priced. However,  inevitably a company may be trying to clear unwanted stock, be notified of a price change before us, or offering a limited term sale price, so in the event that you've found a lower price elsewhere we will match, or even beat it, subject to the following conditions:
  • The product is the same product and the offer is including delivery charges.
  • The product is in stock and available for immediate delivery or delivery within a couple of days.
  • We are able to contact the competitor or see the offer first hand, to verify.
  • The product is genuine UK stock, not GREY.  This means supplied to the retailer by the UK distributor or manufacturer, not imported from mainland Europe or other countries including Jersey and Guernsey
If you are buying a product as part of a bundle, or planning to buy a kit, please mention this at the time.  Usually we can manipulate profit from one product to the next to make sure you get a better deal than the items listed separately.
However, we will not sell at a loss just to beat a price (it makes no sense), but we will do our best.

STOCK STATUS AND DELIVERY TIMES
 
In an ideal world, we could carry everything, all the time, but in reality, getting stock from suppliers and keeping enough on the shelf is virtually impossible.
We break our stock status names into the following delivery categories:
 
Within 2 working days.
This generally means the item is in stock either in our warehouse, or the manufacturers and we can deliver in 2 working days.
 
Within 3-10 days.
If the item is on order, or available for us to order and turnaround for delivery with 10 days, this status will show.  Generally items are due within 3-5 days, but we can never be 100% accurate.
 
Limited stock, please check before ordering.
On some occasions we may have limited stock of popular items, for example, only one lens remains.  We cannot be sure you will order just after the last items sells in our store.  So give us a call, just to make sure we can reserve it for you.
 
Coming Soon - Inform Me.
There may be a couple of reasons this status shows.  Firstly the item is new and due for release but we do not wish to allow deposits.  Secondly the item is out of stock and we do not have an accurate delivery date.  You are given the option to click the text link and leave contact information, and we can then, in turn, drop you an e-mail to inform you the stock is ready to order.  On occasion we may e-mail many people at the same time, so hurry to reply, or you may miss out again.
 
Coming Soon - Pre-order.
If an item is new, and we feel the need to secure initial sales with a deposit, we will make this status active.  Place the order as normal and we will take the deposit stated until the item arrives and we can take remaining payment and send the item out.  Please note, a deposit is a commitment to buy, so do not place a deposit if you are not willing to wait or have deposits paid to other companies to see who delivers first.  We will do the best we can to get you the item.
 
No Stock Available.
If we have no idea if the item will ever arrive, or the item is discontinued, we will take the product off sale by using this status.  If an item is discontinued, there is a good chance another product is available to replace it.
 
 
RETURNS POLICY

ALL RETURNS / UNWANTED ITEMS - You Must contact the Sales Department for Authorisation to return goods to ourselves. Any goods received without an RA (Return Authorisation) Number will be rejected.

7 Day Cooling Off Period
Within 7 working days of receipt of your goods, you may return any of the following items to RGB Technology Ltd, for any reason, for a full refund. By law, when buying at a distance you are allowed 7 days, from receipt of goods, to which to change your mind. This may be because you made an impulse buy or simply chose the wrong item. It is not a "try before you buy period" and if the items are seen to have been used, this will invalidate your return rights unless a just reason is given.  Any postage costs requested outside the standard postage option will not be refunded after the goods have been despatched. You are responsible for your own shipping cost  to send products back. You should make sure you use a postal service that can prove we have taken delivery. The 7 day cooling off period does not apply to Shop purchases or "pick up in Store" purchases.  It should also be noted that with the exception of cameras, goods returned should be returned via Royal Mail recorded delivery, cameras and more expensive items by Royal Mail Special Delivery. 

Refunds
If the Item you are returning is for a refund then Please be aware that refunds can take up to 14 days from cancellation.

EXCHANGES OF DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS.

12 MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY
If a product becomes faulty in the following 12 months of ownership it is repaired under the manufacturers warranty. This will involve returning the product back to it's manufacturer for repair or replacement.

RGB Technology Ltd is always happy to intervene on a customers behalf if they have any difficulty getting a manufacturer repair the items. You can send your product back to us within the first 12 months but we only forward it on to the manufacturer, so it would be quicker to sent the item direct.  This way you will always receive up-to-date info directly and quickly.

The guarantee may become void if the equipment has been subject to damage, eg dropped, affected by liquids, sand or moisture, tampered with or affected by chemical/battery corrosion or leakage. In rare cases where the item is uneconomical to repair the manufacturer may replace the item or if discontinued replace with the nearest model.

We recommend you keep your camera box and packaging and either send your warranty card to the manufacturer, or keep to hand as these are usually required. You will also need a copy of the proof of purchase or invoice we provide upon delivery.  We can provide a duplicate invoice if it becomes lost, but there is an administration and postage charge of £5. 

EXTENDED MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY (BEYOND 12 MONTHS)
Some manufacturers offer warranties beyond the legal required 12 month period. If you need to make a return under such a warranty you can contact the manufacturer directly for a speedier resolution to the problem or you can send the faulty items back to us to handle the repair for you (NB This will add time on to the repair service to allow for our handling and processing of the goods).
 
If you are Returning an item to us please include a copy of your Reciept / Invoice and a short note informing us of the reason for return to the address shown below.

WEEE Regulations:

 

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment.  The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

·         Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

·         Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled.  Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.   

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

RGB Technology Ltd, TA RGB Labs,  is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

For example, if a customer bought a new Camera from us we would accept their old Camera and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:

Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
