The TTL function of the mecablitz 44 AF-4 is the easy way to produce perfect flash shots. The TTL-capable zoom compact flash unit minimizes the risk of red-eye effect, is powerful (with a GN of 44) and exceptionally simple to operate. Only two functional keys are now necessary on account of the logical menu control. The range of standard capabilities of the 44 AF-4 includes manual use, selectable partial light output level, plus a number of interesting special functions such as fill-in flash in daylight to brighten up shadows that are too dense. For more per-sonal, creative control it is possible to change over to manual mode and set a partial light output level when the need arises. Furthermore, the model also features second curtain synchronisation, which is important for natural looking slow sync effects.
This "fully dedicated" unit is available for Canon, Minolta and Nikon autofocus cameras.

• For Nikon digital cameras. Additionally provides D-TTL mode, 3D multi-sensor fill-in flash in D-TTL mode and TTL flash exposure correction.
• For Canon digital cameras. Permits E-TTL flash mode, TTL flash exposure correction and "HSS" high-speed synchronisation.
• For Minolta cameras, with 24-105 mm zoom reflector.
• 44 AF-4iN: Additionally offers i-TTL and i-TTL BL flash control.
• 44 AF-4 O for Olympus digital cameras: With TTL mode and "HSS" high-speed synchronisation
